The “Share” page is/should be the most important and most widely used feature in the app.

But based on our findings, it's being underused, possibly because there is:
- A Cluttered layout
- Conflicting page vs app navigation
- Confusing primary CTA

Understanding

Having received feedback that the page is too cluttered and the primary CTA was not what we intended, we narrowed down the main uses and function of the "Share" page —>

A Designer per design

Each person in our 3-person design team took one of the listed priorities and designed a solution to their selected priority.

User Feedback/Testing

We provided the low fidelity mockups to our user and solicited their feedback. (The team collectively preferred option #3.)

Our user, however, preferred option #2 but suggested some slight alterations to the design.

Solution

Above is the final layout. We deemed it the most intuitive and felt that it helped the user accomplish the "Share" page's main goal.

The entire project consisted of multiple iterations and constructive feedback. But in the end, we discovered the value of user feedback in the design process.
